With daytime highs reaching almost 30 Celsius, this weekend was the first really hot weather we've had (considering it's still spring). Today, I'm dreaming of the snow-time fun I had just a few months ago.

Someone else's interpretation of a picture I took.

After all that cold wind and snow yesterday, what did we wake up to the next day? Sunshine!

Yesterday's "Pineapple Express" dumped over 170mm of rain on us and was followed by high winds that created some breaks in the clouds. So today I was able to get some new pictures of the STI in the sun--something we haven't seen in awhile.

This picture was taken in December 2005 shortly after purchasing my STI. The location is the same parking lot that yesterday's photo was shot.

I bought a Nikon D50 last summer after the memory card on my old Toshiba PDR-M71 point- and-shoot started crapping out. It came with a Quantaray 28-90mm kit lens. It was basically free because the store gave me the option of the buying the body-only for the same price as the body with the kit lens. I recently bought myself a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 and am looking forward to taking more pictures with that lens.
